18While he was saying these things to them, suddenly a leader came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19And Jesus got up and followed him, with his disciples. 20Then suddenly a woman who had been suffering from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his cloak,
¹⁸耶稣向他们说这话的时候，有一位首长前来跪拜他说：“我的女儿刚才死了，可是请你来，把你的手放在她身上，她必会活。”¹⁹耶稣起来跟他去了；他的门徒也跟了去。²⁰看，有一个患血漏十二年的女人，从后面走近，摸了他的衣服穗头， ²¹因为她心里想：“只要我一摸他的衣服，我就会好了。” ²²耶稣转过身来，看着她说：“女儿，放心吧！你的信德救了你。”从那时起，那女人就好了。²³耶稣来到首长家里，看见吹笛的和乱哄哄的群众，²⁴就说：“你们走开吧！女孩子没有死，只是睡着了。”他们都讥笑他。²⁵把群众赶出去以后，耶稣就进去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起来了。²⁶这消息传遍了那整个地区。
