“Ach tusa, nuair a bhíonn tú chun guí, téigh isteach i do sheomra, dún an doras ort féin, agus guigh chun d’Athar atá ansiúd faoi choim.”. (Matha 6:6) A Dhia, is tú mo áit rúnda, i gcónaí i do chónaí ionam, agus mise ionat. Go gcuire mé am ar leataobh gach lá le dul isteach i seomra mo chroí, le bheith in éineacht leat.

Saoirse

A Thiarna, is rómhinic a cheapaim gur mise an té a bhfuil smacht agam ar mo shaol.
Cuidigh liom a thuiscint go bhfuil oiread nithe nach bhfuil smacht agam orthu.
Iarraim an grásta chun mo shaol a thabhairt duit
agus taithí a fháil ar áthas na saoirse sin.

Comhfhios

Is é a bheith feasach ar rud éigin ná a bheith ar an eolas faoi. A Thiarna, cabhraigh liom cuimhneamh gur thug Tú mo bheatha dom. Go raibh maith agat as bronntanas na beatha. Múin dom moilliú a dhéanamh, a bheith suaimhneach agus taitneamh a bhaint as na pléisiúir a cruthaíodh dom, a bheith feasach ar an áilleacht atá thart timpeall orm: iontas na sléibhte, suaimhneas locha, leochaileacht peitil bláthanna. Ní mór dom a mheabhrú go dtagann na rudaí seo go léir uait.

²⁴“No one can serve two masters, for a slave will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.^,

²⁵“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ²⁶Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. A Thiarna, cuidigh liom a bheith ciúin agus suaimhneach go leor chun do ghuth beag suaimhneach a chloisteáil. Cuidigh liom muinín a bheith agam as an méid a chloisim. Tugann do Bhriathar compord, sólás agus spreagadh. Gach rud eile, scaoilim leis.
