Dé hAoine 16 Eanáir
Láthair Dé
Go raibh mo chroí lúcháireach i do ghrá, a Thiarna.
Lig dom bheith beo as an nua arís gach lá.
Saoirse
Níl coimhthíoch Dia ag mo shaoirse.
Ina áit sin, cuireann an Spiorad an beocht i mo mhianta is dlúithe,
do mo thathant go séimh i dtreo na maitheasa
Iarraim an grásta ligeann don Spiorad mé a chuachadh.
Comhfhios
Feasach ar do láthair, a Thiarna,
Breathnaím ar an am atá caite agam le déanaí.
Lig dom a bheith macánta liom féin faoi conas a bhí mé
agus cad atá déanta agam,
mar tá a fhios agam go bhfuil grá agat don fhírinne sa chroí
agus glacann tú liom díreach mar atáim.
Briathar Dé
Mark 2:1-12 NRSVue1When he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2So many gathered around that there was no longer room for them, not even in front of the door, and he was speaking the word to them. 3Then some people came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. 4And when they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and after having dug through it, they let down the mat on which the paralytic lay. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Child, your sins are forgiven.” 6Now some of the scribes were sitting there questioning in their hearts, 7“Why does this fellow speak in this way? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8At once Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were discussing these questions among themselves, and he said to them, “Why do you raise such questions in your hearts? 9Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and take your mat and walk’? 10But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—11“I say to you, stand up, take your mat, and go to your home.” 12And he stood up and immediately took the mat and went out before all of them, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
Inspioráid
Tá rud éigin an-spreagúil i soiscéal an lae inniu, mar dhíríonn sé ár n-aird ar chairde airdeallacha – b'fhéidir ár gcairde féin – agus an fhlaithiúlacht a léiríonn siad uaireanta. Sa chás seo, chonaic na cabhróirí a gcara ag fulaingt faoi gach cineál míbhuntáiste agus chonaic siad go raibh sé deacair air greim a choinneáil ar an dóchas. Gníomhaíonn siad, agus freagraíonn Íosa, ag iompú éadóchas ina dhóchas agus ag cruthú léas solais i saol a bheadh dorcha murach sin.
Comhrá
Suím go ciúin le mo Dhia a bhfuil aithne aige ar gach smaoineamh, ar gach riachtanas agus ar gach mian atá ionam, agus ligim dó aire a thabhairt dom sa nóiméad seo. Faighim pé cothú a theastaíonn uaim don turas.
Conclúid
Gabhaim buíochas le Dia as bronntanas a ghrá
agus mé ag imeacht le lúcháir agus dóchas
chun freastal ar a mhuintir.
