Pause
Lord, I sit with you in silence, stillness, and peace. Your gaze rests upon me, and I feel that you are pleased. Your creativity is evident in me – in every nuance and quirk of my person
Ask
As I strive to fit in with those around me, sing to me of your love for me. Remind me of your attention to each detail of who I am, and your knowledge of every hair on my head. May I honor how you have created me and respect how you have shaped the lives of others. Grant me peace regardless of the approval of those around me.
Listen
I feel the community of saints surrounding me, their arms open and welcoming. Their lives, like Christ’s, examples of the unique paths and plans you hold for each of your children. Their love and support are a stronghold when my confidence wavers.

God, I long to blend in and fit amongst my peers. My heart deeply desires acceptance and community. Guide me to those who also hope for companionship – may I offer to others the community I crave
Reflect
Like Ruth, when I feel like an outsider, may I show compassion and companionship to others. As I examine my own heart and its desire to fit in, may I feel your presence and the cloud of witnesses with whom you dwell. May I honor your creativity at work within me and celebrate that creativity at work in others.
