God, my helper, I come to you seeking guidance and peace. I need employment, but I do not know how to find it right now. Give me a few moments of rest and comfort as I place myself in your presence.
Ask
Provider and protector, please make my path straight as I look for employment. Direct my steps toward a job that will be financially helpful and personally fulfilling. Open a door for me and give me the wisdom and courage to walk through it.
Listen
Jesus, you knew what it was like to find value in work as a carpenter in Nazareth. Still, you placed more value on who you are than what you did for work. As I look for employment, show me how to find value in who I am: a beloved child of God.

God, you have given me skills and talents, and I want to make good use of them. With trust in your plan, I pray for my future employer. May they see my gifts and affirm them in the tasks they give me to do or the role they ask me to play.
Reflect
Wherever this path leads, God, I know you will walk by my side. When the way forward seems dark and uncertain, illuminate my steps with your mercy and love. Attune my heart to the sound of your voice, so that I may always follow where you lead.
