Pause
God of heaven and earth, I come to you today feeling anxious about the future. When my thoughts spiral, help me to focus on your steady providence. When my pulse races, remind me of your peaceful love.
Ask
You are the giver of all good gifts (James 1:17). Today I humbly ask you for a financial blessing. Open my eyes to see a way forward from this difficult place. Whether I need to work hard or accept others’ help, please grant me the grace to follow where you lead me.
Listen
As I ask for this financial blessing, remind me that you see me, care for me, and want to provide for me: “So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)

Reflect
It comforts me to know that you are there in the midst of my financial situation. Even if you answer my prayer in an unexpected way, I have faith that you care about the details of my life and can work all things for good (Romans 8:28).
