Divine Physician, I come to you with a heart full of care and concern for my family member, [name]. They need your help and your healing, your strength and your grace. I place them in your trustworthy hands.
Ask
Jesus, you know what it is like to suffer. Look with kindness and compassion on [name] in their pain. Draw near to them, surround them with your peace and love. Guide the minds and hands of the doctors who will work to cure them. Bring about their complete and total healing in mind, body, and spirit.
Listen
Martha and Mary called on you when their brother Lazarus was sick. They knew you could heal him. At his tomb, you wept. And then you raised him from the dead (John 11:1-44). Martha and Mary were right: you can bring healing anywhere.
