Pause
God of all goodness, I come into your presence today seeking health and healing. As I quiet my aching mind, body, and spirit, surround me with your steady love. Breathing in, I remember you sustain me. Breathing out, I trust you will provide for me.
Ask
God, please restore my health and bless me with your healing grace. Free my body from pain and my mind from anxiety about what the future will hold. Unite my body and mind in your health and wholeness so that I may live in greater freedom and joy.
Listen
Jesus, you said that you came so that we might have life and have it in its fullness (John 10:10). Reveal to me the path to this life in the doctors who care for me, in the loved ones who support me, and in the beauty of your creation that surrounds me.

Sometimes I worry that I won’t find health and healing again. Even if that is the path laid out for me, increase my trust that you will not leave me to face my suffering alone. You who knew suffering and abandonment in this life, please be with me now.
Reflect
May my experience of pain and illness increase my compassion and empathy for those who suffer around me. Open my eyes, my hands, and my heart so I may listen and respond to your call to bring health and healing to others.
