Pause
As I turn my heart toward prayer, I place my hands on my lap, open to receive your presence and your grace. In the midst of a busy day-to-day life, I am grateful for this quiet pause, this time to rest in Your love and goodness.
Ask
With trust in Your kindness, I offer You this prayer for new beginnings. You know our hearts so fully and deeply, God. I take comfort in the assurance that You see my hopes in this moment, but also every fear and sorrow that I carry with me. I ask for the grace of Your guidance as I set out on this new path.
Listen
Jesus, I imagine that we are sitting together in a boat on quietly rippling waters. I remember with gratitude that You call us not Your servants, but Your friends, and in the warmth of Your gaze, I open my heart to You. I am grateful that in Your loving presence, I am always seen and heard.

As I step into new beginnings in my life, I am not sure what lies ahead. I look forward with hope, but also with trepidation about the unknown, and with sorrow for what I am leaving behind. God of all tenderness, grant me the assurance that You are with me not only in every step I take, but also in my every emotion. Grant me the vision to see Your footsteps alongside mine.
Reflect
I breathe deeply of Your peace, Lord, knowing that You are a light for my path. I give thanks that I can trust in Your guidance as I set out for this new beginning, knowing that wherever the road takes me, You will be by my side.
