Lord of all, who knit me together in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and created family, I come to you with gratitude. I thank you for community, for the complex way you weave family together.

Wise Creator, I ask for peace in my family. Grant me wisdom as I seek to establish patterns and boundaries that honour you. Be near me as I cloak myself in grace and compassion, and convict me of the areas where I contribute strife and conflict rather than harmony.
Listen
You are a God of endless compassion; please pour out your peace upon my family. Grant my family the beauty of your holy tranquillity. Lead us beside still waters; restore our souls.

Spirit of Peace, walk near to me. Enfold my family within your wings. Allow me to see each family member with the love and compassion with which you see them.
Reflect
