Pause
Lord, quiet the noise that surrounds me. Make still the turbulent waves of my heart. I come to you craving calm waters. Soothe the tempest around and within me.
Ask
God of all, grant me peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help me to fix my eyes on you and to trust you amidst the storm.
Listen
You bless your people with peace (Psalm 29:13), a peace far deeper than that of our world. Your peace comes through communion with you and through the grace of your Spirit.

Your Spirit fills me with peace and joy as I trust in you (Romans 15:13). Even when my heart is troubled, even when I am afraid – it is to you that I cling. My steadfast sanctuary in the storm.
Reflect
Lord of peace, in your love and compassion, grant me peace at all times in every way (2 Thessalonians 3:16). Smooth the waters of my soul, calm the seas which surround me. I trust in you.
