God, my shelter and my strength, I come to you for refuge from my worries and fears. I call to mind the names and faces of my family members who are on my mind today. Fill us all with your peaceful presence. Remind us of your unending love.
Ask
My family needs protection, and I know you can provide it, God. Protect us from the dangers that surround us, physical and spiritual, known and unknown. Shield us from harm and enfold us in your loving care.
Listen
When your people were enslaved in Egypt, you heard their cry for help. You rescued them from danger and guided them into the desert. You provided for them and protected them so they could live in freedom and joy.

Hear my cry now, God. I am worried for my family, and I know we need your help. Rescue us and guard us. Unite us under your protection and guide us to safety in your sight.
Reflect
The world is full of risk and trouble, but there is goodness here, too. I know you will not abandon us to face our problems alone. Be with me and my family. Assure us of your presence, providence, and protection.
