Here I am, O God. Right now, here, in this place. With these sounds. With these wonders, with these challenges. With these people, with this spirit. With this body, with these feelings. And here you are, with me. In and through it all. Thank you, God, for being with me, here, today, and always.
Ask
I come to you today with a prayer for success. To experience satisfaction and pride in a job well done.
Listen
God, you know my every need. I picture bringing all of my hopes and fears to you, holding them in my cupped hands. I know that there is only so much within my control. I look at them again, my anxieties, my dreams, my hard work, my sense of what I deserve, and I gently tip them out and pour them into your hands. I see your hands close over them gently, securely.

I know that results are not the most important thing. That the destination is never as important as the journey. And yet, you know how much success would mean to me! I try to loosen my grip on my expectations. I envision a detachment from possible outcomes. And I give my longing for success to you, trusting that you will fulfil it in time, in one way or another.
Reflect
I am so grateful that I can be honest with you, God. That I can share the desires of my heart with you. I place my trust in your hands of loving compassion and abundant generosity.
