Pause
My heart is overflowing. I come before you with an outpouring of gratitude. Our shared joy reverberating like a song between and around us.
Ask
Good and loving God, I offer you a prayer of thanks. For all that you have done, for all that has been given. How could I ever thank you enough? This gratitude is without end. My cup is filled with gratitude, I pour it out to you in thanksgiving – you fill my cup back up again. You give so generously – a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
Listen
When I was in a different season, even very recently, it was hard not to worry, hard to keep hoping. I know there is suffering and struggle, death and the tomb. But today is a resurrection day – a day of rejoicing! My gratitude rings out like a trumpet, like a tambourine, like a song without end. I will return to this memory in times of challenge.

Thank you, God, for being a God of life, of mercy, of new beginnings. For making all things new. For making a way where there was no way. Thank you for being my constant companion, through the way of the cross and the valley of death, through to the other side of abundant life. Your goodness and generosity know no end.
Reflect
My heart is yours, O God. My heart overflows with songs of praise! Take this sincere heart of thanks as my offering to you today. All that I have, all that I am. I love you, I thank you.
