Pause
Jesus, I come to you heavy with the weight of our broken world. Hold me as I cry out to you, hear me through my tears
Ask
I beg for your protection to cover all areas of conflict. I cry out for peace, for reconciliation, for justice. Enfold the innocent in the safety of your wings (Psalm 91). Heal the wounds of bodies, minds, and souls scarred by violence. Reunite families and comfort those suffering and mourning.
Listen
I hear and echo the cries of your holy mother. I too sing of tyrants toppled, the lowly raised, and justice to prevail over oppression (Luke 1:46-55). I feel your mighty arms around me; I trust that you hear me.
Share
I long to see your peace in this world. Wrap all those who are suffering and displaced in your everlasting arms, speak words of comfort over them, instill courage and fortitude in the hearts of those who are afraid.
Reflect
Even when my heart is downcast at the ruins of our world, I know that you are still good. Even when the tears flow, you assure me of your love. Speak this comfort to all those who are living in fear and bring them your hope and your peace.
