Lord, thank you for being my companion on life’s journey, each day, and in each moment, including this one. Help me to tune in to your presence now…

1 Corinthians 7:7

⁷ I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has a particular gift from God, one having one kind and another a different kind.

Reflection

What a boring place the world would be if we all thought the same way, dressed the same, did the same things. Where would be the fun in that? And yet we surround ourselves with people who agree with us, who share our opinions, who do as we do. Those who don’t, they’re different. Too often, in our minds, we’re right, and they’re wrong. But we are all different. No two of us are alike.

Closing prayer

Dear God, place in my path someone I can serve this day. Give me the grace to recognise them and act on your word. Help me live my faith.  Amen.
