Novenas

Welcome to the Sacred Space Novenas page. We hope to gradually add more novenas here for you to pray with, as and when you wish. Some novenas are prayed at specific times of the year, but we encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to what you need at the moment, no matter the date or time of year.

Novena in Honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus – A novena to the Sacred Heart is usually prayed for the 9 days prior to the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This feast is always 19 days after Pentecost, on a Friday, which means it varies from year to year.

Novena of Grace in Honour of St. Francis Xavier – usually the 4th to the 12th of March.

Novena for Peace on Earth – various dates.

Novena to the Sacred Heart – here we have a different novena to the Sacred Heart, based on the invocation, “O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.”
