Pause
Lord, I come before you in confidence that you hear me, see me, and know me. You knit me together in my mother’s womb, and you know the desires and movements of my heart.
Ask
I approach you in prayer and petition with thanksgiving, presenting my requests to you, trusting your word that your peace which surpasses all earthly understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6-7). Hear my plea, answer my requests.
Listen
Your word promises that I can call on you in prayer and that you will listen to me (Jer 29:12). I quiet my heart and my mind so that I, too, may listen to you.
Share
I offer these requests to you, trusting in your goodness and your wisdom. With head bowed, I praise you for your care for me, compassion towards my needs, and willingness to hear my cries.
Reflect
You are my God, from whom nothing is hidden, and you know my requests before I make them. I am grateful for your listening ear, for your loving heart, and your grace so generously poured out for me.
