We pray that migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys full of danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the countries that receive them.

Glorious Father, by raising Christ your Son you conquered the power of death and opened for us the way to eternal life.
May my prayer today renew my love for you and give life to all the good works I want to do.

I offer you my heart this day and all that I am for the intentions of Pope Francis this month: let us pray that migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys fraughtwith danger and violence, may find welcome and new living opportunities in their host countries.

Father, as I prepare for sleep tonight, let me know the warmth of your love.
In your mercy, soothe my pain, whether in my body, mind or soul.Grant me a restful night of sleep so that when I awake, I’m strengthened to do your will. Through Christ our Lord Amen.
