Some thoughts on this scripture
Reflection
Lord you are a special sort of light: a kindly light who leads me; but also a
light mixed with darkness. There can be obscurity in my faith, periods when,
like John of the Cross, I leave the understanding behind, in order to go to
God by love. In that darkness I can always return to the memory of Jesus'
humanity, and God shining through it.
