Mary Magdalene was a beloved friend of Jesus. She was a repentant sinner and had been forgiven by Jesus for her sins. Mary knew that she was loved, utterly and completely. She was the first person Jesus appeared to when he had risen from the dead. Let us ask Mary to help us when we feel overwhelmed and stuck, so that we might experience the love and joy she knew when she was with Jesus.
