The Importance of Saying Yes
Good often comes from a ‘Yes’ approach to life, a can-do approach. Part of the growth in wisdom we are invited to develop is knowing how to discern between what should be said ‘Yes’ to and what should be said ‘No’ to.
In our Christian tradition we recognise and magnify Mary’s ‘Yes’. She said ‘Yes’ to God and her only question was ‘How will this be done?’ No preconditions, no worries, no bargaining, no self-indulgence. She took a ‘Yes’ approach to life, and what a life that was!

We Remember At This Time…
We recently celebrated the feast day of Our Lady Undoer of Knots, a title for Mary that is both unusual and one of Pope Francis’s favourites. There is a Novena prayer dedicated to Our Lady Undoer of Knots.
Sometimes, our lives can feel tangled in the most complex knots and difficult issues. Mary’s intercession can help us loosen, untangle, and smooth out these challenges. Her faith inspires us to address our problems and leads us toward solutions and peace that may have seemed unattainable before we prayed.
Lord, help us to trust that when we seek Your guidance, You always have an answer for us. Amen!
