Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoiding wasting food and to ensuring that everyone has access to quality food.

Morning Prayer

God of my life, I welcome this new day.
I thank you for the grace of being alive this morning.
I thank you for this chance to make new beginnings.
This day is full of mystery and the unknown; help me to face it without fear or anxiety.
During this day keep me thoughtful, prayerful and kind.
Keep me from any word that would hurt, or belittle, or destroy;
Lord Jesus Christ, friend and brother, may we know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day. Amen.

Night Prayer

Lord, I thank you for the blessings of this day … As I rest tonight, I ask for your peace to surround me and my loved ones. Help me and all I remember this night  to trust in your protection and wake renewed. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
