Music
All of your favourite musical pieces are still available within the Daily Prayer. Once you’ve selected the day and have started your daily prayer, please click on the menu or mute icon in the top right corner of the screen to see the music options. Click on one of the tracks to start playing that piece of music. Click on the menu X to close the menu and continue with your prayer.

Need Guidance?
The “Need Guidance?” link that was available on “The Word of God” prayer stage has now become a dedicated prayer stage directly after “The Word of God.” To access the Inspiration Points, all you have to do is move to the next prayer stage.
We first made this change on the apps in 2021, which proved to be incredibly popular. We work very hard to provide fresh inspiration for the Gospel every day of the year. It didn’t make sense to keep it hidden away as an extra click where most people did not know it existed.
I would like to be added to your daily mailing list
Sacred Space does not offer a daily email for our prayer. People are invited to log onto our site or app as often or as little as they wish. The American Jesuits do offer a daily email service, in many languages, if this is something that would be more helpful for your prayer. Prayer with the Pope
Each month the Pope entrusts a prayer intention to his Worldwide Prayer Network, the Apostleship of Prayer. These intentions, which express the Pope’s concern for humanity and the mission of the Church, are made available along with a monthly reflection on the Prayer with the Pope on the homepage.

No online donation form
Sacred Space does offer online donations via credit/debit card as well as PayPal via the donate page https://sacredspace.com/donate/. If the donate form does not show, it means that you have declined all cookies. Rejecting cookies will mean you are not able to see our donation form.
In order to fix this, you will need to go to this page https://sacredspace.com/cookies/ and click on Cookie Consent Preferences (see screenshot below). You will then need to click “Allow All”.
Unfortunately, the service we use to manage donations requires that Essential, Performance, Functionality, and Analytics cookies are all allowed in order for the donation form to be displayed. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to change this at the moment.
We fully understand if you do not want to allow all cookies. We do offer alternative donation methods in the form of Wire Transfer (EFT) and cheque. Please see our other FAQ to find out more.

Living Space Commentaries on the Scripture Readings
The Living Space section of the site is available here: https://livingspace.sacredspace.ie/
These in-depth scriptural commentaries were originally the work of Fr. Frank Doyle, SJ who passed away in 2011. The site is actively maintained and it is possible to use the search facility to view and search for commentaries on both weekday and Sunday scriptural readings, as well as those for the feast days of saints.
Under the link “About Living Space”, the site is also searchable by Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John); by Sunday of the Year; or by Saint by Month.

Can’t download app on Chrome device
The app only works on phones and tablets. Unfortunately, the app was not built with desktop devices in mind, and at the moment, it would require additional work. If the opportunity arises in the future to add support for Chromebook and other such devices, we will, but for now, the only solution is to use our website, sacredspace.com. Here’s a link to a YouTube video that shows how to add a shortcut from the Chromebook desktop directly to the Sacred Space website, which would be exactly like having the app but with all the extra features of the website https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_HZEilR4lA.
How do I print from Retreats
The Sacred Space website now supports all mobile devices. Part of this support is the ability to swipe to move from one prayer stage to another instead of having to tap on the small links below the prayer stages. Unfortunately, this means that it’s not possible to select text, as this would prevent the ability to swipe. The retreats will remain live on the site and can be accessed from the retreat page https://sacredspace.com/retreats/
We listen to all feedback, so your request to be able to copy the text will be added to a file. In future redevelopments of Sacred Space, we will try to incorporate your request. I’m sorry that we could not provide you with a solution.
How to Print the Daily Prayer
To access the print version of our daily prayer, follow these steps:
From the home page, click on “Begin the Prayer” You will see a list of dates for the week, including today’s date. Select the print icon beside your date of choice – this is situated to the right of the date
