As Advent begins, we take courage in the sure knowledge that the Lord is coming. Maranatha – Come O Lord.

Though the days grow darker, we know they lead us towards the light – the birth of our Saviour. You are with us now, even in the dark days.

As we hang up our Christmas lights, may they help to brighten our way until we feel your nearness as you enter our hearts and our homes, guiding our steps.

Prepare the way of the Lord. Shine your light on the road before us as we walk with hope towards your loving arms. Amen!
