Pope’s Intention June 2023

We pray that the international community may commit in a concrete
way to ensuring the abolition of torture and guarantee support to victims and their families.

Morning prayer

God, our Father, I offer You my day.
I offer You my prayers, thoughts, words, actions, joys and sufferings
in union with Your Son Jesus’ Heart, for the salvation of the world.

May the Holy Spirit, Who guided Jesus, be my guide and my strength today
so that I may witness to Your love.
With Mary, the mother of our Lord and of the Church,
I pray especially for this month’s intention as proposed by the Holy Father.

That migrants fleeing from war or hunger, forced to undertake journeys
full of danger and violence, find welcome and new opportunities in the
countries that receive them.

Night prayer

My thanks for the good of this day –the good done for me and the good I did.
I ask you to help those I met today who need our help, especially –

Forgive any wrong I have done.
Give to me and all I think of now the peace of a restful night
and be ready for love and service tomorrow.
