This week, we celebrate International Dog Day—a time to recognize the special place our dogs hold in our lives. For many of us, our pets are more than companions; they are family.

Dogs have a remarkable way of sensing our emotions. Whether we are joyful or burdened, they stay by our side, offering comfort without judgment and love without condition. They are truly a gift from God—living reminders of the kind of unconditional love He has for each of us.

Many of us find ourselves opening our hearts to our pets in ways we might not with anyone else. In their quiet presence, we find peace, laughter, and healing.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of joy you’ve given us in our pets. Amen!
