I place my suffering friend directly at your feet, within reach of your healing hands. I pray for an abundance of healing: Ease what is aching, lift what is unbearable, shift what is obstructive, connect what is cut off.
When I feel alone, overwhelmed, or afraid, make your presence known to me, God. You have the power to protect and save us from the forces of evil in the world.
Good and loving God, I offer you a prayer of thanks. For all that you have done, for all that has been given. How could I ever thank you enough? This gratitude is without end.
Like a mother hen, you gather me close under your wings. Under your protection, I find rest and comfort. Your nearness is balm. Your love, the best medicine.

God, I long to blend in and fit amongst my peers. My heart deeply desires acceptance and community. Guide me to those who also hope for companionship – may I offer to others the community I crave
